With a leftover avocado or two taking up space on my countertop, I knew I need to act fast to prevent one of these glorious fruits from spoiling. As my mom had recently made a traditional Key Lime Pie, I also had access to a handful of fresh Key Limes…

What do you get when you cross the two? A lightened up Key Lime Parfait starring, you guessed it, avocados! Loaded with healthy fats, fiber, and protein, this dessert is fit for breakfast or dessert. Invite your kiddos to help you mash up the avocado or crush the grahams and you will soon be surrounded in FUN.

Key Lime Pie Parfaits

Yield: 4-(1/2 cup) servings

Prep Time: 15 minutes



2 hass avocados (aka. Californian avocado), diced

1 8-oz container whipped cream cheese

1 cup light vanilla Greek yogurt

6 key limes (roughly 4-5 TBSP, less if you prefer a sweeter flavor)

2 chocolate graham crackers, crushed



  1. First, gather and prepare your mise en place.
  2. In a food processor or blender, add all the ingredients and blend until smooth. Be sure to scrape the sides to ensure all is blended thoroughly.
  3. Spoon into glasses and serve with a sprinkle of crushed grahams and/or a dollop of whipped topping.
