Some great sources of protein that are low cost are:
Oatmeal
Beans-  ( When purchasing canned beans be sure to purchase no salt or low sodium varieties)
Greek Yogurt- Plain is best and you can add your own fresh fruit or honey to the mix.
Canned Tuna and Salmon ( Be sure to purchase canned fish that is packed in water and low sodium)
Cottage Cheese
Peanut Butter
Eggs
Milk
Whey Protein Powder
